Two of Cups:
This is a union where you seek another's cup to mingle with your own. It's the act of union and needing one another. However don't give too often or too freely without receiving another or your cup will be empty by nightfall.
Keywords: Connection, Partnership, Love, Harmony, Mutual attraction
Meaning: Two of Cups signifies a deep connection and mutual affection between two individuals. It represents the potential for a loving partnership, whether romantic, friendship, or a significant emotional bond. The card suggests that there is harmony and balance in the relationship, and both parties are committed to supporting and nurturing one another. It encourages open communication, vulnerability, and the sharing of emotions. The Two of Cups brings a sense of love, unity, and the potential for a fulfilling and harmonious relationship.
19 – The Sun: This is the Dagaz Rune card. It means day, awakening, illumination and hope. This is why I thought of the Sun card. What better card says day and awakening than the Sun?
Nine of Swords:
This is the Deals in the Dark card. It says that you walk in dark paths that seem ominous, but there are things you can only find there in the dark. This is a card about overcoming your fear to try new things as much as it's about shadow work and finding value in the night.
Some people find power and faith in things that are pure and divine and full of light. Others find meaning and substance and help in the dark. It's worth it to acknowledge the scary and fear inducing, the opposite of love and light.
I chose the 9 of Swords for this card because it's the nightmare card. I can't think of any card better to represent Deals in the Dark than the nightmare card.
