Seven of Wands:
Financial: I've failed to protect or keep money made. I may also be overcome with bills or debt, and may feel defeated. // Have faith that I can still come through this. Consult with a financial professional and come up with a plan to get my head above water.
Higher Guidance: I'm exhausted, burnt out, and on the edge of giving up altogether. // Take a break! Things tend to look brighter once I've slept, eaten a good meal, and talked things out with a friend. It's okay to hit pause.
Outcome: The SoW reversed suggests I'll become overwhelmed and may want to fold on my goals along the way. // Make sure I have a good support system in place to help get you through the tough times and encourage you not to give up!
King of Wands:
Beginnings: I may not be making the best decisions—out of ego or overconfidence. Alternatively, this card can suggest feeling unprepared for the next chapter of life I've been thrust into. // Check my ego and focus on the greater good. If I'm feeling nervous or unsure, ask for the help and guidance of someone I trust.
Career: Is my boss acting more like a tyrant than a kind and compassionate leader? There's some ineffective leadership going on. This can also be applied to myself: Am I lacking motivation and energy to get where I want to be? Or am I using other people to get what I want? // If I'm acting like my own worst enemy, it's time to take a more compassionate approach. I'll feel more motivated if I allow myself to move forward with grace.
Higher Guidance: I feel like I want (or need) to do everything simultaneously. This card can also be a sign of being too hard on myself! // I'm being guided to SLOW DOWN! It's great to want to charge forward with speed and momentum--but remember that I'm not running a race. There's no finish line here. If I've been hard on myself, CUT THAT OUT!
Outcome: Warns that I may be making impulsive or selfish decisions. This card also warns me not to become overly aggressive in pursuing my goals. I don't want to be known as that person who stepped on everyone on their way to the top--or get to the top only to realize it's a lonely place because I neglected all of my relationships along the way. // Now is a good time or an energy or intention check on my goal and how I plan to get there. Is there another path that feels more aligned?
7 – The Chariot:
Beginnings - Now is a time to act! If I've been thinking about starting something new or going in a different direction, The Chariot is my green light. // Remain focused, determined, and hardworking as I move forward, and I will succeed.
Career: I'm driving the chariot of my career full speed ahead, baby! I'm focused and driven and determined to succeed. This card also represents a competitive workplace. // Try not to focus on what others are saying and doing. Stay in my lane with my head down and keep working hard. Hard work and determination are rewarded by The Chariot.
Money: I'm driven and determined to overcome financial hurdles and meet my goals. I may be saving for a big purchase or working toward a financial goal. Self-discipline and sticking to a plan will get me where I want to be.
Higher Guidance: Now is the time to sprint babe! Whatever it is, I'm focusing on, pedal to the metal and 100% I have the power and strength to overcome difficult things. // Have faith that I will overcome the obstacles I face with courage and strength.
Outcome: The Chariot is a sign of a successful and victorious outcome! This will only come, though with discipline and hard work. // Decide NOW that I've already succeeded--and act accordingly. I'll likely need to step out of my comfort zone to emerge victorious.
Ten of Swords:
Beginnings: There's something in my life that needs to end, but I'm resisting it. Resisting endings will draw things out and make them that much harder. This card can also signify hitting rock bottom. // Ask myself: "Why amd I experiencing resistance? What am I afraid of?" Change is inevitable and it will bring my growth, if I let it.
Career: Relief from the pain that the upright ToS brings. I've found a new job (or am looking for one), or the stress at work is settling down. If I were let go from my job, the reversed ToS brings me an ending so I can find a more aligned new beginning. // Focus on recovery from here on out. Time to move on and up.
Money: There have been tough financial times, but I'm writing a new chapter in my money book. This card suggests focusing on recovery after financial loss. // Take the lessons learned from the past and apply them moving forward. Seek professional guidance to help me devise a plan to get back on solid ground.
Higher Guidance: Stop resisting. When I read that sentence, what came to mind? That's what I'm being guided to release my white-knuckle grip on. // It hurts to let go. The sooner I can do so, the sooner I can embrace the things that await me on the other side.
Outcome: The journey ahead will feel like going to hell and back (or Mordor and back if I'm a Tolkien fan). Recovery and renewal will come with it, too. // I'm closing the end of a painful cycle. Things will get harder before they get better, but they will get better.
Ten of Wands:
Beginnings: I'm coming to the end of a cycle and am close to starting a new chapter! // Complete the tasks at hand and bring my current chapter to a close. Practices such as release rituals, cord cutting, or spells for closure may be helpful
Career: I'm potentially overburdened at work because others aren't carrying their own weight or I'm trying to do too much. One of the key themes of the ToS is asking for help when I need it. I can talk to my boss or coworkers and see if I need to let go of some things to maintain my mental well-being; that's okay.
Money: I'm carrying the weight of the financial world on my shoulders right now. My financial load is heavy. I don't have to come up with the answers on my own—ask for help! Consult with a financial advisor for guidance and advice.
Higher Guidance: My guides see how hard I'm working and the effort I'm putting in. They want me to know I'm almost at the finish line! // Don't get discouraged now! I've been working so hard--the reward at the end will be worth it.
Outcome: I'm pushing myself to my limits, but I will succeed in the end! // Give it my all--my dreams await me at the finish line. Be prepared for extra responsibilities that will come with my success.
2 – The High Priestess:
Career: Things are feeling foggy and unclear at work right now. The HP reversed suggests there may be information regarding my work or business that I don't know yet, possibly being kept secret from me. //I should be mindful of who I trust at work and listen to my intuition.
Money: I may be missing key financial information about my situation. I may feel like I will never have a good relationship with or understanding of money. // Similar to its upright position, the reversed HP is a sign to delve deeper into my relationship with money.
Outcome: The reversed HP indicates uncertainty and hesitation. // Am I fully prepared to do what it is I'm setting out to do? This card suggests maybe not.
